Fires started deliberately

FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle two small fires which were started deliberately in Mersey Street, Warrington, during the early hours of today (Sunday).

A hose reel was used to put out the two small rubbish fires.

Meanwhile firefighters also had to deal with a hale bale fire on a field close to Fiddlers Ferry power station on Saturday afternoon. Back pack extinguishers were used to put out the fire.
