Open gardens weekend

AFTER an absence of three years, the popular Culcheth Open Gardens weekend is back – offering local people an opportunity to see some of the most attractive gardens in the area.
There will be a well stocked plant stall, tea and cakes and musical entertainment – all in aid of Culcheth Methodist Church and St Rocco’s Hospice.
The event takes place over Saturday and Sunday, July 4-5 between 1.30pm and 5pm.
Tickets cost £4 in advance or £5 on the day and can be bought from any of the gardens,  Poynton’s florist on  Lodge Drive, Culcheth Methodist Church on Saturday or Sunday mornings in June or St Rocco’s   Hospice.
Coffee will be served in the church hall from 10am until 12 noon on the Saturday morning, with music around 10.30am and lunches served by Guides and Brownies from 12.15pm.
The last Open Gardens weekend, in 2012, raised £3,430
