A MAN and a woman were trapped in a car after a collision on a motorway link road at Warrington.
Fire and rescue crews were called to the scene on the road that links the M6 North to the M62 East at Croft last night.
Crews were able to release the couple – and four children who had been in the car had managed to get out before the arrival of the fire engines from Warrington and Birchwood.
No details of injuries have been released.
