Trans Pennine Trail closure

0

ESSENTIAL resurfacing work on a section of the Trans Pennine Trail at Warrington will result in part of the trail being closed for up to six months.
A temporary footpath closure has been introduced on the trail from the cycle track between the Gatewarth Landfill access (Barnard Street/Forest Way junction) to the junction with Footpath No 5 (adjacent to the Ferry Tavern public house).
The closure will be in place as and when signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works.
A alternative route will be as signed on site during the works.
