WARRINGTON Disability Partnership’s fund-raising activities during the festive period raised a staggering £11,500.
The charity would like to thank everyone who supported their fund-raising activities which included gift stalls, tombolas, a prize raffle and the Santa’s grotto at Warrington Market.
The charity raised over £11,500 – with money still coming in – a fantastic effort in the current climate. Money raised will help to support current services and ensure that these continue in 2013.
Special thanks go to Steve Pickering, Warrington Market Manager, and his team for all their hard work and continued support of the charity.
Patients at Warrington Hospital also received a surprise visit from Santa & his Elf who delivered gifts, all donated by WDP, to the Children’s Ward, Neonatal Ward, Children’s A&E, Stroke & Dementia Wards.
For details of the Christmas raffle prize winners, events in 2013 and information on volunteering please visit the website www.disabilitypartnership.org.uk or contact Warrington Disability Partnership on 01925 240064.
