Sexual health services set to change

SEXUAL health services in Warrington could be changing – and NHS chiefs want to know patients’ views.
NHS Warrington is asking patients where and when they would like sexual health and contraceptive services and how this could best meet their needs.
Interested people are being asked to take part in a survey, stating whether they are male or female and giving their age.
A spokesperson said: “This would give us an opportunity to design services as the people who use the services would like them.
The survey will run until Novemer 29 and will involve filling in a questionnaire, either at one of the local sexual health services or online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/Sexual_Health_Engagement
Everyone who completes the form will be entered into a draw to win a brand new iPod Touch – with the winner announced on November 30.
NHS Warrington wants to redesign sexual health services across the borough to improve access to local services and hopefully reduce the distance people need to travel.
The result will see the integration of contraceptive and screening/testing services into one main location. Other benefits may include reducing the number of appointments people may need to make by providing services in one, more convient.
