Fire in pub cellars

FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington and Stockton Heath were called out to deal with a blaze in the cellars at a local pub.
The fire was at the Ram’s Head, in Grappenhall village.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with one high pressure hose reel jet and a covering jet. Gas and electricity supplies were isolated.
A thorough check with a thermal imaging camera was carried out to ensure there were no hotspots before crews left the scene.
In a separate incident, fire crews from Warrington tackled a blaze involving fencing at Teal Close, Warrington. Two high pressure hoses were used to extinguish the flames.
