More women go digital

A MAJOR increase in the numbers of women in Warrington and the North West winning work in the digital sector has been reported.
PeoplePerHour.com, a major online business marketplace, reports a 189 per cent rise in women in the region gaining this type of employment.
More than 48 per cent of the jobs were secured in design and programming, with a further 10 per cent in database development and nine per cent each in web graphics and flash programming.
Women working in the digital sector in the North West also gained high ratings for the quality of their work.
