GROUPS that support children and young people with a disability may be able to get grant help to buy equipment.
Grants are available from Warrington Borough Council for groups and clubs that need to buy equipment to help to support disabled young people and children. But the deadline for applications is February 1.
There are grants for groups and services of up to £2,500 and individual grants for young people of up to £1,000 to buy equipment which will allow them to try a new leisure activity or provide childcare.
It is part of the council’s aim to improve accessibility for children and young people aged from birth to 24 years. Further information is available from Janet Spiers or Gillian Wright on 01925 443139.
