Town set for North

WARRINGTON Town have provisionally been told they will be again playing in the Unibond Division One North next season.
The league format still has to be ratified by the F.A. and with at least four clubs facing an uncertain future due to financial pressures nothing has been set in stone.
Club officials feared Warrington could be moved back to the South following the relegation of mainly Northern based clubs from the Unibond Premier.
But it would appear they will now continue to have a more lucrative season in the North, with the benefits of more “local derbies” including a mouth-watering clash with near neighbours Leigh Genesis, who have used Cantilever Park twice during the past 12 months for home games due to being unable to use their own stadium with Leigh Rugby League Club having first say on use of the pitch.
The proposed make up of the North and South leagues is as follows:
