New owners for Penketh Paints

THE future of Warrington’s Penketh Paints has been secured when, later this year, it will reopen as a Johnstone’s Decorating Centre.
The existing store on Buttermarket Street is currently closed for a complete refurbishment, but will reopen for business in August.
The newly refurbished store is set to be bigger and better than ever before and will be stocked full of paints, a huge range of wallpapers and every other tool and accessory needed by the professional decorator and DIY user alike.
Gina Laycock from Johnstone’s said, “We are really pleased to be opening a new Decorating Centre and investing in Warrington’s economy. Our research shows there is a strong local market for quality decorating products and the Penketh site is an ideal location. Penketh Paints has built a strong reputation and a great heritage and we intend to work hard to ensure that this reputation is preserved.
“We hope that existing customers will enjoy the new, modern look store and we look forward to seeing both old and new faces when we open our doors again in three months’ time. Rest assured it will offer all of the quality and value you have come to expect from Penketh Paints and lots of new offers and products for you to choose from.”
