WARRINGTON Town picked up their first point under new manager Paul Moores after they came from behind three times against third placed Goole.
In a thrilling game at Cantilever Park, Town gave debuts to a host of new signings and youngster Danny Toone, who has been with the club from youth team level.
The Wire had to endure some pressure from the visitors in the opening exchanges, with debutant Rudi Coleano clearing off the line to keep the scores level.
Moments later Goole did take the lead, a curling free kick from Brad Hill beating Shane McWeeney in the Warrington goal.
Phil Mitchell then missed a glorious opportunity to bring Town level as he fired over when through on goal.
Warrington did draw level just before the break when Mitchell found Anthony Daniels who side-footed past Craig Parry.
Only a minute later, slack defending gifted Goole the chance to take the lead and Hill duly obliged, giving the visitors a one-goal advantage at half time.
The Wire started the second half well and could have pegged Goole back again, but Michael Owens had his effort saved when through on goal.
McWeeney was called into action twice soon after, making good stops as Goole looked to kill the game off.
Yet it was Town who got the next goal as Francis Smith’s shot squirmed under Goole’s keeper Parry.
Goole then had an effort chalked off for off-side, but did take the lead for a third time when poor defending allowed Steve Rollinson to drill the ball home.
Five minutes from time Town grabbed their third equaliser as substitute Chris Robinson finished off a fine move and good work from the impressive Francis Smith.
