Tricky cup trips for Town

1

WARRINGTON Town have landed tricky preliminary trips in the F.A Cup and F.A Trophy in the draws made today.
In the FA Cup, Town will enter at the preliminary round stage and will travel to either North West Counties outfit Leek CSOB, who groundshare with Leek Town or local rivals Bootle. This game will take place on Saturday August 28 k.o. 3:00pm.
Should Town win they will again be away in the first qualifying round to either Parkgate, Staveley MW, Padiham or Ashton Athletic, a game which is scheduled for Saturday, September 11.
Warrington Town have still never reached the first round proper of the world’s most famous cup competition but did make the draw once before losing out in a qualifying round replay.
In the FA Trophy, Town start away again in the preliminary round at Shepshed Dynamo from the Evo-Stick Division One South, on Saturday, October 2.
If successful they could face either Kidsgrove or Mossley at home in the first qualifying round. That game would take place on Saturday October 16.
The fixtures for the Evo-Stik League season will be released on Wednesday July 14 at 9:00am.
