WARRINGTON Wolves’ centre Chris Bridge underwent surgery on his shoulder this afternoon which is believed to have been a complete success.
The operation went well and Bridge is expected to make a full recovery, although it is likely he will miss the remainder of the season.
Bridge has put in consistently strong performances this season crossing for nine tries and kicking 38 goals across both the Engage Super League and Carnegie Challenge Cup competitions.
Bridge’s performance for England against France in the Gillette Mid-season International also saw him singled out as one of the stand-out players.
It is the latest in a long list of injuries to have plauged the player, although he had been on his longest run of form without injury prior to the operation.
