THE Warrington Wolves Foundation has won £45,000 funding in the final of this year’s People’s Millions programme.
Delighted staff and volunteers at the charity based at Warrington Wolves are celebrating after securing the public vote
for lottery money on the ITV programme which was screened last night.
The money will be used to give children access to free sports holiday activities throughout the year.
A delighted spokesperson from the Foundation said: “Thank you so much to everyone who picked up to the phone to vote, you have helped to put the Wolves Foundation on the map, made a charity very happy and created a jam packed FREE project for the children of Warrington in 2010!
“It will give young people the opportunity to complete courses in Sports Leadership, which is nationally recognised and helps develop skills in planning, communication and delivery, setting them up for the future.
“The activities will be run in six locations in the town including a sports club for young people with disabilities.”

  1. Brilliant – well done everyone at the Foundation for all the hard work you’ve done over the years, the effort for the bid and the huge effort to come.
