WARRINGTON Wolves success starved fans have clocked up record first day ticket sales for a Challenge Cup Final with more than 10,000 tickets sold on day one.
With tickets still available for what is set to be a momentous occasion for the club and town tickets are still remaining priced at £21 and £26 with an additional allocation of £41 and £51 tickets expected today.
Craig Spence, Communications Manager at the RFL, said: “Clearly the Warrington fans are getting behind the club with these record ticket sales which is great to see. Huddersfield have also shown really strong sales over the first day. This will be a great day out for both sets of fans and neutrals alike.”
Ticket sales are not the only thing to have flown off the shelves. Travel packages have also been in high demand. The Wire Flyer Train package has sold out and the day coach travel package from the club has already reached 18 coaches.
Telephone orders can be taken by calling 0871 622 1879 and selecting option 2 or by logging on to the Wolves website at www.warringtonwolves.com and follow the Cup Final link.
