WARRINGTON Wolves came from behind to produce a nine try 50-10 demolition of London Broncos at the Halliwell Jones as half-back Lee Briers celebrated a recall with a brace of tries.
New signing Stefan Ratchford took over at full-back to accommodate the returning Briers with Chris Riley dropping to the bench while Joel Monaghan replaced Rhys Williams ont he wing.
The Wolves went behind in the 8th minute as half back Michael Witt found a gap in the defence and then added the extras to give the visitors a six point advantage.
But after a shaky start Warrington soon started to take control as Chris Bridge, twice, Joel Monaghan and a super solo effort from Ryan Atkins saw the Wolves open up a 20-10 lead at the break, with the only response coming from Bronco’s winger Michael Robertson on 39 minutes.
The second half was nearly all one way traffic as Warrington added 30 points without response as Monaghan and Atkins both crossed again, followed by full-back Ratchford and a brace from Briers in the 71 and 78th minutes, with Briers converting both his scores.
Ben Westwood weighed in with five conversions from seven attempts as the Wolves bounced back from the disappointment of their opening day draw at Hull last week.
