Two fire crews tackle blaze in car compound

TWO fire crews were called out to tackle a car on fire in a compound on Haydock Street, Warrington, during the early hours of Thursday morning.

The incident was reported at 00:29 and a car on fire in a compound was extinguished by firefighters.

They used two hose reels as the fire also damaged some surrounding vehicles. No details of the cause have been given.
