Fire at rear of rugby club

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to reports of a fire on land at the rear of Moore Rugby Club, near Warrington.
Crews discovered the blaze involved about two tonnes of builder’s waste and wood chippings which were well alight.
A hose reel jet and hand tools were used to extinguish the flames and crews then spent about 20 minutes damping down the area. TGhey were at the scene in Moss Lane, Moore for more than an hour.
