Emergency school bus service after fire

BUS company Network Warrington has stepped in to operate an emergency school service to and from Penketh High School this afternoon and on Monday.
This follows the major fire at Fairbrother’s Buses which left a number of coaches and the firm’s premises badly damaged
A spokesman for Network Warrington said the company would be offering the school service free of charge to ensure no schoolchildren are left without transport in the bitterly cold weather.
“We are asking for parents and children at Penketh High School to be aware of this temporary service change and to look out for Network Warrington vehicles this afternoon and on Monday to ensure that students get on the appropriate buses to and from school.”
