Fire and ambulance crews called to house blaze

PARAMEDICS treated one person for the effects of smoke after a blaze at a mid-terraced hose at Warrington.
The fire was in the kitchen at a house in Brookland Street last night and fire crews from Warrington and Penketh went to the scene. A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire and a ventilation unit was used to clear dense smoke from the property.
An ambulance crew also went to the scene and  paramedics treated one the occupants for smoke inhalation.
