WARRINGTON residents will be able to brush up on their IT skills in the New Year, with a free, three-day training course.
The Neighbourhoods in Warrington team are offering the training from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 of January from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
The classes are targeted at beginners to serve as a basic introduction to IT and aim to encourage those who are not computer savvy to get online.
The course will be centered on the most common uses of the internet, such as how to set up and use an email address, how to use search engines and how to find information online.
It will also teach guidance on how to upload photographs and use different social media sites such as Facebook, Skype or YouTube, while also being secure and safe online.
Sessions will be held at Whitecross Community Centre, Lexden Street, Warrington, WA5 1PT.
