POLICE are carrying out a major search operation in the Frodsham area this afternoon following what is believed to have been an armed robbery in the town.
Raiders struck at a travel agents in the town centre shortly before 2pm, according to Cheshire Police.
A police helicopter is taking part in the search.
There are no reports of anyone being injured.
