Still time to get tickets for Mayor’s multi-cultural extravaganza

THE Mayor of Warrington’s spectacular cultural event is getting closer – and now he’s inviting people to pop down to the Town Hall to pick up tickets. 

Cllr Faisal Rashid’s multi-cultural evening of food and entertainment from around the world, takes place at Walton Hall Park on Wednesday, 6 July. He has organised it to celebrate an array of cultures from Asia, Africa and Europe. 

Tickets are available from the Mayor’s website or from the Town Hall reception or the Mayor’s office.

Cllr Rashid said: “This is going to be a fantastic event, celebrating a range of cultures and helping to strengthen the community bond.

“You can now get your tickets on-line, or directly from the Town Hall, so make sure you don’t miss out on what is sure to be a fantastic evening filled with music, dance, entertainment and much more.”

The evening includes colourful performances of traditional and contemporary dance, live music and food from across the globe, all under a weather-proof marquee at the popular park. 

All proceeds will go to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal supporting Warrington Disability Partnership, St Rocco’s Hospice, the Tim Parry Jonathan Ball Centre for Peace and Brainwave.

Tickets for the Mayor’s multi-cultural evening, which takes place from 7pm – 11pm and has a licensed bar.are £10.
