Police uncover second Warrington cannabis farm in less than a week

POLICE in Warrington have uncovered a second cannabis farm in the town this week following a raid on a property in Bewsey.
A 31-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of growing cannabis at a property in Crosby Avenue, Bewsey.
They have have both been released on police bail.
The arrests followed the execution of a search warrant yesterday (Thursday) and involved a total of 16 plants being found, value unknown.
It follows on from a raid on a property in Orford earlier in the week.

  1. Well done to the police. How many in total have they found in the past year ?
    Do people always get prosecuted and if so do they just tend to get fined and a slap on the wrist ?
