POLICE at Warrington today released a picture of an 11-year-old boy who was found dead at his home earlier in the week.
Daniel Woodward, a pupil at St James CE Primary School, was found dead by paramedics called to his home in Secker Avenue, Latchford.
A post mortem examination has revealed death was due to hanging and police say they are not treating the death as suspicious.
A file has been prepared for the Cheshire coroner, Nicholas Rheinberg.
The tragedy was discovered on Wednesday, shortly after 10.30am.
Daniel is survived by his parents and an elder brother.
The family has been devastated by the tragedy and have requested that their privacy be respected.
