Wolves release statement after crowd trouble at Catalans

WARRINGTON Wolves say they will gather further information and take appropriate action following the crowd trouble that marred their defeat to Catalans.

The Dragons ran out 30-10 in a fiery encounter, which boiled over in to the stands at the conclusion of the game, captured live on Sky Sports.

The result groups the play-off picture even more so, as Warrington start to nervously look over their shoulders at the chasing pack, making a betfair sign up offer ever the more appealing.

A club statement said: “Warrington Wolves are deeply disappointed with the incidents at the conclusion of tonight’s fixture at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.

“The club is working in conjunction with Catalans Dragons and Super League to gather further information, and determine the appropriate action required.

“The club does not condone this behaviour and strongly believes that scenes like this have no place in our sport. We sincerely believe that this behaviour does not reflect the vast majority of our loyal and supportive fanbase following the team in France this weekend.”

  1. Bonjour
    God save RFL
