EMPLOYEES at Eddie Stobart, leading supply chain and logistics company, wanted to give back to the community this Easter by donating Easter eggs to the Warrington Foodbank – part of the Trussell Trust.

Eddie Stobart will also be donating a pallet containing drinks, crisps and other goods with a long shelf-life to help those living in crisis. To add further support, staff will also be taking part in a dress-down day to raise further funds for the charity ahead of the Easter weekend.

Alex Laffey, CEO said:” Following our donation at Christmas, we’re proud to support Warrington Foodbank this Easter. At this time of year, many families come together, and we want to support the local community by donating Easter eggs and supplies to support those less fortunate over the holiday period.”

David McDonald, Project Manager at the foodbank said:”Once again, we’re very grateful for the continued support from the staff at Eddie Stobart. The generous donations will give local families who use our services a real boost this Easter.”
