Price keeps faith with same squad for Wigan Grand Final showdown

WARRINGTON Wolves’ Head Coach Steve Price has kept faith with the same 19 man squad involved in the semi-final victory at St Helens to face Wigan Warriors in the Betfred Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford, on Saturday kick off 6pm.

Having lost three previous Grand-Finals in recent years, including twice to Wigan, the Wolves are looking to clinch their first title in 63 years!

In the the club’s golden era they appeared in five championship finals between 1948 and 1955, winning the title on three occasions.

Veteran forward Bennie Westwood says he will be “giving his all on the pitch” as he seeks to win his first Grand Final.

“Never say never but I realise this could be my last chance,” he said.

Meanwhile the club has now sold out of their initial Grand Final allocation.

There will be an additional allocation of Category 5 tickets on sale from the official club store or by calling 01925 248888 from 2pm today.

Category 5 tickets are £30 for adults and £22.50 for concessions.
