VIDEO: As Warrington prepares to mark the 25th anniversary of the Warrington Bombing peace campaigner Colin Parry provides a tour of the Peace Centre created as living memorial to the two boys who died in the terrorist attack.
Costing £3 million the Peace Centre, which provides a base for the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace, opened seven years after the IRA bomb attack on the town, after former Northern Ireland Home Secretary, the late Mo Mowlam, set the challenge to raise the necessary funds.
As well as providing a base for the Foundation, it is also used by Warrington Youth Club and the NSPCC and has hostel facilities which can sleep up to 40 young people taking part in various residential courses promoting peace and reconciliation and various other activities including counselling and survivor programmes, assisting those who have been victims of terrorist activities.

Next Tuesday (March) HRH Princess Anne will visit Warrington for the 25th anniversary service on Bridge Street, when there will be a minutes silence at 12.27.
