A REUNION is being organised for pupils who left Warrington’s Bridgewater High School 50 years ago.
The 50th anniversary event is to take place at the Fir Grove Hotel, Grappenhall, on July 4 next year at 7pm.
Organiser John Price said: “It was called Stockton Heath Secondary School then although many people referred to it as Broomfields.
“We already have 18 folk signed up to attend, including some from as far afield as Australia and other parts of the UK.
“If you were from Year 5 of 1968, or know anyone else who was, please let them know and ask them to get in touch.
“You can get in touch through the school, or through Facebook – Broomfields Class of 68.
“Anyone from that year will be welcome.”
