Road closed as firefighters tackle van fire

FIREFIGHTERS had to cordon off a road in Walton, Warrington, while they tackled a fire involving a van carrying propane gas cylinders.

The incident took place on Camberwell Drive, yesterday and involved a van containing three propane cylinders, a drum of vitamin and a drum of oil.

A cordon was set up as firefighters, two in breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze.
