WARRINGTON-based Galliford Try Partnerships North West is celebrating double success at the prestigious Inside Housing Top 60 Development Awards.

Its £100m Brunswick Regeneration scheme in Manchester was awarded “Regeneration Scheme of the Year” and “Winners of Winners” for transforming an area of Ardwick.

Galliford Try Partnerships forms part of the S4B consortium with Equitix, Mears and Contour Homes, which is currently delivering the 25-year extensive regeneration programme.

Due to complete in 2023, the project is providing 522 high quality new homes, a 60-bed sheltered accommodation, a new retail area, and an improved neighbourhood design including new road layout and public open spaces. A further 650 council homes are also being refurbished.

The prestigious Inside Housing Top 60 Development Awards recognises projects and organisations that are leading innovation in housing development.

Craig Nemeth, regeneration manager for Galliford Try Partnerships, said: “We are delighted to have received national recognition for the work that is being undertaken at Brunswick.

“This is a scheme that is not only transforming the area but rejuvenating a community by bringing much needed investment and jobs to residents.

“A significant transformation is already evident at Brunswick.

“In the past three years we have delivered over 100 new homes, both for affordable rent and private sale through our Linden Homes brand and 600 existing homes have benefited from extensive refurbishment by Mears.

“Upgrades have also been made to the public realm in the area including Gartside Gardens and local play areas.”
