Wolves squad for Widnes trip

WINGER Tom Lineham has been included in the Warrington Wolves 19-man squad for Friday’s trip to local rivals Widnes.

The Wolves have lost three of their last four games since they defeated the Vikings on Good Friday to move top of the Super League table.

Lineham was the victim of a strong-worded comment from coach Tony Smith in his weekly press conference, and though he is in the 19-man squad, could still turn out for dual-registration partners Rochdale as threatened.

Jordan Cox returns to the Wolves line-up, which is of course still missing long-term injury absentee Chris Sandow.

Wolves 19-man squad: Atkins, Clark, Cox, Currie, R Evans, Gidley, Hill, Hughes, J Johnson, Julien, King, Lineham, Penny, Ratchford, Russell, Sims, Westerman, Westwood, Wilde.
