The passing of time!

0

AS I write this the dark nights are closing in and the first Christmas adverts are being seen on TV, and heard on radio.
Time passes so quickly, we try to make time, kill time, and it also flies, and yet it still passes relentlessly, we can’t slow it down, though we try and save it.
In my childhood days it seemed to pass so slowly, playing in the fields from morning to night, only coming home when we were hungry and tired. The fields have long gone. Friends have moved away, or passed away, and yet their impact on my life lives on, often with humour and always with gratefulness for their encouragement, support and protection as I was finding my way in life.
Since my early days, when I used to listen to and learn from the older people in my street, I have wanted to help others wherever I can. In those days the old were respected and listened to, and learned from.
In my mid 20’s I made the decision to move away from regular, or what was seen as normal employment, and trained to do what I do now. In those days hypnotherapy was largely not understood by the public, nor many in the medical profession. Nowadays the public are much more aware, and the medical profession are embracing hypnotherapy too as a healing option.
As my practice become more established, I began to research, and develop new hypnotherapy products to be used at home, and also in association with mainstream medicine. My work as a hypnotherapist, continues to teach me lots about human behaviour, about our frailties and our strengths, our special place in life and society.
I have also learned that time heals, or at least makes it easier to cope with some things in life.
So great is this understanding on my life, that many of my self-help audio programs are time structured, they incorporate the use of time to optimise the benefits of my programs. For example the IBS Audio Program 100 is used for 100 days, so if it were to be used on Christmas day, it would be completed on 4th April 2014. A fraction of the many years which many IBS sufferers live through.
Time also changes things, it changes perceptions, ideas, morals and ethics, it changes us as individuals, and our relationships, time can help to strengthen us or weaken us individually, it depends if we are prepared to put in that extra ingredient into our understanding of the importance of time, and that is effort. With time and effort, we can usually achieve the things we want to achieve. One thing we do learn about time as we go through life, is that there is never enough of it, no matter how much we are given, whether we waste it or use each moment, there is never enough.
