POLICE and firefighters were called to a house at Longford, Warrington early today following reports of a car
on fire.
The incident was at a house in Honister Avenue and the blaze involved a car on the driveway.
Fire crews, wearing breathing apparatus, extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet. It is believed the fire had been started deliberately.
Anyone with information about how the fire started is asked to call cheshire Police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers hot line, 0800 555 111.
