FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fence fire in Orford, Warrington, this morning (Saturday), with a discarded cigarette believed to have been responsible.
One fire engine from Warrington attended the incident in Rylock Close at around 8.40am on October 10.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze using a hose reel.
According to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, the fire is believed to have been caused by a discarded cigarette.
The incident serves as a reminder of the potential fire risk posed by carelessly discarded cigarettes, particularly when they come into contact with combustible materials.
