Culcheth and Glazebury Methodist Churches are inviting people who have lost a loved one to attend their annual memorial service next month.
The service will take place at Culcheth Methodist Church, on Ellesmere Road, Culcheth, at 3pm on Sunday, November 22.
It is open to anyone who wishes to take time to remember someone special, whether their death was recent or many years ago.
The service will include thoughtful reflections, prayers and music, with those attending given the opportunity to light a candle in memory of their loved one.
There will also be time for quiet personal reflection for anyone who would prefer to remember their loved one in their own thoughts.
Organisers recognise that grief affects everyone differently and that the pain of loss can resurface at unexpected moments.
Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of their faith or circumstances.
Following the service, refreshments of tea, coffee and cake will be served in the church’s Welcome Space, providing an opportunity for people to come together.
