Officers investigating a report of sexual assault have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.
Sometime between 12.03am and 12.15am on Sunday 19 July, two women were approached by an unknown man at the New Imperial on Albert Road, Widnes. During the evening, the man inappropriately touched both women.
Enquiries have been ongoing since the incident and as part of their investigation, officers have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.
Police Constable Jade Bellerby said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and we are urging anyone who recognises the man pictured to get in touch.
“We believe he may be from the South Wales area and would also appeal directly to him to contact us.
“We would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage that could assist our investigation, or from anyone who witnessed the incident.”
