RHODE Island Coffee’s Warrington shop, which first opened in 2004, will re-open next week following a refurbishment.
The site closed in early July for a refresh and will welcome customers back on Wednesday (August 5).
Rhode Island Coffee is an independent, family-run chain and says Warrington is an important part of its story with a loyal and growing customer base across generations. Some team members such as Sandra have celebrated 12 years with the company – a rarity in today’s world – and they have previously collaborated with Warrington Wolves on marketing and PR activities..
A spokesperson said: “Rather than a flashy overhaul, the refurbishment has been about making the space warmer and brighter by utilising natural light, and more comfortable for the regulars , while elevating the displays, furniture and flow and simultaneously retaining the essence of Rhode Island: award-winning speciality-blend coffee, friendly faces and a homely spot in the Golden Square to sit and catch up inside or in our al-fresco seating area.”
The company plan to introduce iin-person community events to all of their sites as they believe coffee houses should be, as they were first intended to be, a facilitator for connection and conversation, especially in today’s digital, polarised world.
