A local coffee roastery and wholesaler of coffee beans, RoastHouse has launched a campaign to donate £1 to Warrington Youth Zone from each 1kg pack of WYZ Brew coffee beans sold.
RoastHouse is no stranger to Warrington Youth Zone, having supplied coffee to business leaders attending the Youth Zone’s quarterly business breakfasts. The new initiative was launched to expand the company’s support of the work of Warrington Youth Zone providing a safe environment, fun activities, and support for mental health and employability for young people aged 7-19 or up to 25 with additional needs in Warrington.
The local, independent company has its base at Gemini Business Park, a short drive away from the Youth Zone that they support. To kick off their support of Warrington Youth Zone with their cause related marketing programme, RoastHouse opened a competition for young people to design labels for their ‘WYZ Brew’. Lola-Rae was the winner of the coffee label competition and even received a £30 voucher for CoffeeHouse as a reward!
Lola-Rae said very beautifully, “My artwork is a masterpiece!”.
Jamie Patterson, Head of Fundraising at Warrington Youth Zone said on the partnership: “RoastHouse has been supporting us massively with our events, and for them to offer to build upon this with a donation from each sale of wholesale coffee beans, and through supporting our employability programme too is incredible! As a charity, we’re completely reliant on generous individuals, foundations, and businesses stepping forward, seeing the value we create locally for young people and families and coming on board as a supporter. A huge thank you to all the team at RoastHouse for their support!”.
Pete Gibson, Head of Coffee at the RoastHouse explained: ‘We’re really happy to be involved with Warrington Youth Zone and support such an important local initiative. Being part of the communities we serve is something that means a lot to us, so this partnership felt like a natural fit.
It’s also been great fun working together on our new Warrington Youth Zone coffee, especially involving the young people in the process by giving them the opportunity to design the label for the coffee bag themselves. Seeing their creativity brought to life has made the project even more special, and we’re excited to share it with the wider community’
The contributions of RoastHouse through their generous donations, and the work they will be doing to support Warrington Youth Zone’s employability programme highlights the importance of partnerships between organisations and businesses and will create a lasting impact for young people locally.
