POLICE are seeking witnesses following a serious collision on the M62 near Burtonwood, Warrington, during the early hours of this morning, which resulted in the closure of the motorway westbound.
At around 4.15am this morning (Tuesday 16 June), police received a report of a single-car collision. A man has been taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
All three lanes of the westbound carriageway, from junction eight to junction seven, were closed but have since reopened.
Any witnesses with information, including dashcam, are asked to contact Merseyside Police Contact Centre or call 101 with reference 112 of 16th June.
