THE full programme has been revealed today for this year’s Warrington Food and Drink Festival, with the town getting ready for a full weekend of food, drink and live activity.

Returning to Bank Park at Warrington Town Hall on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th, the free festival will bring together around 80 traders alongside a packed line-up of demonstrations, music and family entertainment.

Visitors can expect a mix of street food, artisan produce, drinks brands and independent makers. Traders confirmed so far include Baked by Nicola, Bowes Dairy Produce, Hive & Honey, Press & Melt Grilled Cheese, Pizza in the Box and The Salford Rum Company.
Alongside the traders, activity will run across both days, with live demonstrations from producers and food specialists. Sessions will range from sourdough making and Cheshire cheese to cocktail making, with hands-on workshops taking place across the site.
A live music stage will run throughout the weekend, featuring performances from Tina Sax, Daniel Green and Kickback Sundays, alongside appearances from local choirs across both days.
For families, there will also be circus skills workshops, balloon modelling, face painting and a small fairground.

Andrea Morley, Project Manager at Warrington BID, said: “This is where it really starts to come together. We have the traders in place, the programme mapped out, and a full weekend that people can plan around.
“It is not just about coming down for an hour. There is enough going on for people to spend time here, try something new, and make a proper day of it in Warrington.”
The festival returns following a strong first year, which saw more than 67,000 people visit the town centre across the weekend.
Andrea added: “It really did make a difference last year, both in terms of footfall and the atmosphere across the town over those two days.
“This year builds on that. There is more to see, more to do, and more reasons for people to come back into Warrington and stay longer.”
Warrington Food and Drink Festival will take place from 11am to 7pm on Saturday, May 16th and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, May 17th.
