AS part of its continuing quest to work with and for the local community, the Raven Inn at Glazebury, Warrington, will be hosting Leigh darts academy on Wednesday evenings.
Space is being provided in the function room, at the Raven, for aspiring young darts players to practice and hone their skills.
There is already a well established jam night on Wednesdays, in the bar, where locals come along with their acoustic instruments and jam the night away.
Now the two will tie in with each other.
Spokesperson Peter Sturman says, “We are delighted to host Leigh darts academy. The Raven is always looking to work with and for our local community. Parents will have the option of some refreshment, whilst supporting their budding darts players.
“It is, of course, open to anyone to come along, enjoy the evening and add their support.
“Who knows, we could have the next Luke Littler in our midst?”
The Raven aims to offer an array of events to provide something for everyone.
Their ‘Feel Good Fridays’ are really going down a storm, freshly Battered Haddock, hand cut chips, homemade mushy peas & tartare sauce. Dine in or takeaway. In addition they have entertainment on Friday May the 8th, 22nd & 29th.
As if that’s not enough our legendary Sunday roast provides yet another opportunity for everyone to come along to the Raven and soak up the atmosphere whilst enjoying a pampered Sunday afternoon.
