Discarded cigarette believed to have caused bin fire at Woolston

A discarded cigarette is believed to have started a bin fire at Woolston, Warrington, on Tuesday evening.

At 20:24 one crew from Lymm attended reports of a fire on Grosvenor Grange, Woolston.

A bin that was well alight was extinguished using a water backpack. This is believed to have been caused by improperly discarded smoking materials.
