A concerned councillor is calling for additional suport and monitoring from Warrington Borough Council following multiple incidents of fly-tipping in the Burtonwood and Winwick areas of the town.
Since Wednesday this week, upwards of 12 very large bags duvets containing builders foam and packaging foam have been fly-tipped in multiple locations in Burtonwood and Winwick.
These have been dumped on:
Hall Lane – Burtonwood
Broad Lane- Burtonwood
Mill Lane – Winwick
Southworth lane- Winwick

Independent local Cllr Stuart Mann said:”It is clear this waste has been dumped by the same people. I believe all those on public lanes have been logged.”
As there is a large amount of small plastics within these bags he has called for them to be removed ASAP.
In an email to the council’s environmental crime team he has for additional support in monitoring these locations.
