DEMENTIA care specialist, Belong Warrington, got into into the swing of all things literary, celebrating World Book Day (05 March).
Residents and tenants at the Loushers Lane care village dressed up for the occasion, as did staff, getting stuck into themed activities, treats, and much chatter about their favourite stories.
Louise Kelly, experience coordinator at Belong Warrington said: “Our customers have embraced World Book Day, with each household decorating their home around a different book, bringing much-loved stories to life, with Threlfall House winning best dressed competition with their fantastic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory entry. Across the village we’ve enjoyed Mad Hatter tea parties, and residents gathered to watch Alice in Wonderland together. It’s been a truly magical day of stories and imagination.”
