Two fire crews called out to tumble dryer fire

TWO fire crews were called out earlier today following reports of a tumble dryer fire at a property in Statham near Lymm.

At 08:09 two fire engines from Stockton Heath and Lymm attended at a house on Crossland Mews, Statham.
The fire was out on arrival, and firefighters used a high-pressure fan to ventilate smoke from the premises.
The appliance was removed from the property, and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots.
There was no report of any injuries.
