Grappenhall Beer Festival returns ‘bigger and better’!

The Grappenhall Beer Festival is back for 2026 and promises to be bigger and better than ever!

This popular event, organised by the Grappenhall Youth and Community Association (GYCA), will take place on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th May 2026 at the Grappenhall Community Centre, bringing together the local community for a weekend full of live music, delicious real ales and ciders in the Olde Barn and large Beer Garden.
With over 30 real ales and ciders available to sample, along with a fantastic line-up of live music and delicious hot food, the Grappenhall Beer Festival is set to be the highlight of the Spring. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast, a music lover or someone looking for a fun day out with the family, there’s something for everyone.

Event Highlights:

  • Friday Night (7:30 pm – Midnight):

Kick off the festival with live music from the amazing That Olde Chestnut https://thatoldchestnutband.bandcamp.com/, enjoy a wide selection of real ales and ciders, and soak up the great atmosphere. Hot food available to purchase from Urban Cuisine food truck.  Tickets are just £12. This session is for over-18s and perfect for those who appreciate great beer and cider.

  • Saturday Afternoon (12:00 pm – 6:30 pm):

A family-friendly session with live music from local family band, Imperfect Cadence, our very own Holly Rose and the Ukeladies band.  The afternoon concludes with The Nick Milner Band https://www.facebook.com/TheNickMilnerBandlive who will rock us to the end of the session.  A variety of hot food will be available to purchase from Urban Cuisine and Los 2 Amigos food trucks.  Well-behaved dogs are welcome too; come and meet our festival pooches, Goldie and Max, who might even share their dog treats! Tickets are £12 with FREE entry for children.  This session is very busy so we recommend you bring along a camping chair to guarantee a seat!

  • Saturday Night (7:30 pm – Midnight):

The festival concludes with an electric performance by Red River Band https://www.theredriverband.net/,   Hot food available to buy from Los 2 Amigos food truck.  Tickets are £8, and this session is for over-18s only.

Calling All Sponsors!
Premium Sponsors of the festival can enjoy an exclusive Premium Sponsors’ Hour on Friday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.  During this time, complimentary drinks will be served, providing the perfect opportunity to network and enjoy the festival atmosphere before the evening session begins. Alternatively, sponsors can opt to receive tickets for an alternative session of their choice.
The Grappenhall Beer Festival is more than just a celebration of beer, it’s an opportunity to bring the community together, showcase local talent and raise vital funds to support the GYCA, which continues to provide invaluable services and facilities to the local area.
All money raised through tickets and sponsorship will be invested back into this essential charity and community hub, which supports small businesses, groups and people of all ages. From senior lunches and yoga to sound baths, film screenings and more, the GYCA offers something for everyone.
