A 31-year-old local man has been charged with breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order after a concealed device was found in Warrington during an ongoing operation safeguarding children and vulnerable people.
Officers from Cheshire Constabulary’s Sexual Offender Management Unit have charged a man in Warrington, following his arrest yesterday.
Thomas Finney was arrested on Monday, 23 February, and has since been charged with breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
The 31-year-old of St Peter’s Way, Warrington, was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court later today, Tuesday 24 February.
The charge comes after officers found a concealed device while carrying out routine checks as part of Operation Guardians, the force’s ongoing operation focused on safeguarding children and vulnerable people across the county.
